ENG 294: International Travel Writing – 3 hours
This will transfer as ENG 290, which counts as a Writing-Intensive (WI) course and also counts toward your “Aesthetic, Interpretive, and Literary Perspectives” requirement.
CHN 101 or 102 – 3 hours
This course will be taken at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology. You will receive a transcript from that university, which will be used in transferring the course to UNCW.

- Great Wall of China, Juyongguan pass.
- Ming Tombs
- Summer Palace
- Rickshaw tour of a Beijing hutong, a traditional neighborhood, where we’ll get to visit a local family.
Weekend Excursions from Nanjing
- Mt. Huangshan – “the loveliest mountain in China”
- Suzhou – “Venice of the East”
- Hangzhou and West Lake
